Player Registration Instructions – Season 2026

This guide explains how to complete your League (VNA) registration and Club membership. There are TWO steps to complete, All players must complete both steps to be eligible to play.

Step 1: League Registration

Before you start

Please confirm your AGE GROUP for the upcoming season and select the option below that best describes your situation. If you are not sure of your age group - please click here.

Use your club’s official Netball Connect registration link:👉 https://registration.netballconnect.com/login

Click Register → Get Started to begin.

Existing or Returning Player

(Played with this club previously and not with another club)

Log in using your existing Netball Connect account
Select the correct player profile
Complete the registration steps

⚠️ Important: Do not create a new profile if you have played before.

New Player – Never Played Football Before

Create a new Netball Connect account (unless you already have one from another sport)
Use the club registration link
Complete the Netball Connect account and registration process

Transferring from Auskick

Players must meet the minimum league age requirement for the relevant age group
Use the club registration link
Log in or create a Netball Connect account
Complete the registration steps

ℹ️ Age eligibility rules are set by the League.

New or Returning Player (Played with Another Club)

If you have played for another club, a player clearance (transfer) is required.

Log in via the club Netball Connect link
Complete the registration details
When recognised by name, DOB, and gender, you should see this message:

“You’re attempting to register to a new club. You will need to submit a transfer request to proceed.”

If you do not see this message, stop and contact the club.

Include:

Player name
Date of birth
Gameday ID (if known)
Previous club name

Once submitted:

The request is reviewed by the current club, new club, and league
You’ll receive an email confirming approved or declined

If approved:

Your old registration is cancelled
You’ll be prompted to complete registration with your new club

If declined:

Contact your previous club and notify your new club

Step 2: Membership Payment to Club

League registration does not include club membership fees.

Memberships and registrations are combined in Netball Connect, and membership options can be selected and paid for during player registration, without requiring a separate step.

Both membership and registration are required for a player to train or compete in the 2026 season.

Membership must be paid before the season begins.
